Loyal Supporters & Prospective Mixed Martial Artists:

After several months of creative differences and an inability to come to terms on the direction of this organization, Octane Mixed Martial Arts, Inc. is announcing that effective Friday, January 25, 2008, operations will be terminated. While it is difficult for dedicated members of the management team to arrive at this decision, we feel that it is in the best interest of our loyal supporters and prospective Mixed Martial Artists to be proactive in make this difficult decision now rather than extend the life of this product.

Octane MMA would like to take this opportunity to thank the following for their endless hours of service and unwavering support from beginning. First of all, Octane MMA thanks Ed Quinn for bringing knowledge and credibility to our organization through his decades of Mixed Martial Arts experience. Without Ed Quinn’s countless hours in drafting and planning, the first Hi-TEST Tryout would not have been a reality. Ed Quinn has been a loyal supporter of Octane Mixed Martial Arts since he was first approached and supports us in this decision.

Octane MMA thanks all the professional Mixed Martial Arts that gave of their time and talent at the first Octane MMA Hi-Test Tryout, specifically Angel Cartagena, Stephen Haigh, Rami Ibrahim, Shaun, and current Bodog Fight 135lb Women's Champion, Tara LaRosa. Your love and support of Mixed Martial Arts and its promotion in Pennsylvania was evident to our organization and the fighters that participated on that day.

Octane MMA is most saddened to report this decision to the prospective Mixed Martial Artists that have sent their resumes from all over the country and those that participated in the Hi-TEST Tryouts, looking for an opportunity to compete in a sport that they have dedicated countless hours. We hope that this decision will not deter anyone from wanting compete or participate in Mixed Martial Arts for the opportunities are many. Octane MMA wishes that this organization could have been that opportunity. Octane MMA wishes all those that participated and submit their resumes the best of luck. Our review of the Hi-Test footage speaks volumes of the character and talent that is competing or will one day compete on an MMA platform.

Finally, to you the fans of Mixed Martial Arts in Pennsylvania, our goal was to bring MMA to PA, even to the point of moving shows to New Jersey to keep the brand alive. We have let you down as an organization because we wanted to be the flagship brand of MMA in PA. Unfortunately, another organization will have to make good on that promise.

Ultimately, it has been a very short but memorable ride that has given us as organization and individuals many opportunities to meet and learn from a variety of people that we would never had otherwise. Every individual we have come in contact with has made a lasting impression. While our MMA involvement is finished, the future of this sport in Pennsylvania is very bright. On behalf of the corporate partnership team and its dedicated staff, please accept our sincerest thanks and best wishes for a successful future in all your endeavors.

Sincerely

Octane Mixed Martial Arts, Inc.
